Co-Founder/Art Director of the Student Anti-Racism Coalition
I co-founded the first Student Anti-Racism Coalition in the Grand Erie District School Board alongside friends in my school. This was to facilitate anti-racist conversations and initiatives in the school community.
Two such initiatives were to plan and execute a culture day (where students were encouraged to where their cultural clothing), and cultural food days where we were able to expose teens to different foods and invited them to eat together.
As the art director it was my responsibility to design posters, social media content, and display boards to raise-awareness about anti-racism efforts.

Head of Indigenous Student Council
As one of the heads of Indigenous student council I participated in multiple meetings across the Grand Erie District School Board, Student Senate, and inclusion surveys to advocate for the needs of Indigenous and queer students.
I collaborated with other Indigenous Student Councils from other schools to design the 2023 logo.
I also had a key part to play in planning and executing events for Indigenous pride and awareness, including banner making, raising awareness for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and decorating our display board.

I was very active in my school community in high school I co-founded and was the art director for the first "Student Anti-Racism Coalition" and participating in multiple other student's rights groups. For this, along side overcoming personal struggles I was awarded "The Shooting Star Award".

I am a passionate student who approaches every project with a creative lens. For my first two years in university I studied game design and development but turned my focus on user experience. I am excited to start my career within the user experience industry.
